My class was incredibly happy making these little cork angels today. We used the instructions from #twinkl to practice our retelling skills and then we treated ourselves to the making these little characters. My favorite part is that they are all unique, we used lots of different skin colors and two different dress template sizes. So much fun ✨ #esl #bilingualeducation #bilingual #elementaryschool #internationalstudents #primaryschoolteacher #teachersofinstagramWhen I start a new project or lesson my first aim is to find a good reason for getting the kids to dare to talk. If they are shy or embarrassed and you don’t give them a good enough reason ...well, then they won’t talk. Next, after talking to them and discovering how they feel, I try to come up with a short and meaningful text or dialogue that they can apply to their everyday lives. This dialogue is what we used when we went around our school asking of Gobo’s whereabouts. #esl #secondlanguage #bilingualeducation #internationalschool #internationalstudents #creativeclassrooms #teachersofinstagram #gobo #fragglerock #puppets-
